We are absolutely thrilled about this upcoming litter and the reality of having some very special Southern & Kind babies arriving just in time for Christmas!
They are expected to be born between October 22–27, and based on that timing, would be ready to begin going to their new forever homes around December 17–22.
This will be a very special pairing between our sweet Bailey and Fairytale Lane's handsome Silly Goose:

Silly Goose — 17 lbs | 16 inches
Caramel Parti Roan
We are expecting this pairing to produce beautiful, loving, ALAA-registered, multigenerational Australian Labradoodles with wonderful family-companion temperaments. We are especially excited about the variety of beautiful colors and patterns that may be possible!

Expected adult size: Most puppies will likely mature around 17–25 lbs and 15.5–17.5 inches, with some potentially being on the smaller end around 16–19 lbs and 15–16 inches.
Of course, with any litter, color, pattern, and adult size can vary, so these are our best expectations based on Bailey, Goose, and their genetics.
But what I really want you to know about our puppies is how they are raised. This is truly a family labor of love for us.
Our puppies are born right here in our home, and from their very first day, they are surrounded by the people who love them most. My husband, Jan, and our boys, Wyatt and Connor, are all part of raising these babies. It really is an all-hands-on-deck kind of experience in our house.
We are there for the little moments, the middle-of-the-night care, the first tiny milestones, the growing personalities, and all of the everyday nurturing that goes into helping each puppy feel safe, loved, and confident.
We started Southern & Kind from a desire to create a true heart-of-the-home environment—a place where puppies aren’t simply raised, but where they are genuinely known, loved, and invested in from the very beginning.
Every puppy receives hands-on attention from our family. We want them to experience compassionate care, gentle handling, affection, and the sounds and rhythms of a real family home. By the time they leave us, we want their families to know that their puppy has already been surrounded by love from the very first day of life.
And we love sharing that experience with our Southern & Kind classroom community, too. Our classroom is another special part of our puppy journey, allowing our puppies to experience additional loving interaction and helping us share the joy of watching them grow with the Southern & Kind family.
For families who have reserved a puppy and are local, we also love offering scheduled live visits so you can come meet your puppy, spend time together, and begin building that special bond before they ever come home.
We understand that not everyone is close enough to visit in person, so we also offer FaceTime visits whenever possible. We want our families to feel connected and included throughout the journey, even from a distance.
As the puppies arrive and grow, we love sharing updates along the way, including pictures, videos, milestones, and individual updates about the puppy you are hoping to welcome home. Getting to watch those little personalities develop—and sharing those moments with their future families—is one of our favorite parts of raising a litter.
When you bring home a Southern & Kind puppy, you’re not just receiving a puppy that has been cared for—you are receiving a little one that our whole family has poured love, time, and intention into.
